Journal ArticleDOI
Conformational dependence of CH(CD)-strechings in D-glucose and some deuterated derivatives as revealed by infrared and raman spectroscopy
TL;DR: In this paper, the Raman and i.r.d. spectra in the CH and CD-stretching region of D -glucose and five selectively deuterated derivatives in the solid state have been recorded.
Journal ArticleDOI
Electric dipole moment functions from vibrational absorption intensities of fundamental and overtone transitions
TL;DR: In this article, the authors measured the intensities of fundamental and overtone transitions of CH stretching vibrations for a few selected paraffins, ketones, ethers, aromatic compounds, and haloforms.
Journal ArticleDOI
A comparative study of the fundamental and overtone spectra of dioxane
TL;DR: In this paper, the frequencies of the overtones in Dioxane provided parameters that can be used also for interpreting the fundamental spectrum between 2800-3000 cm−1 as long as one takes into account the Fermi resonance.
