Induction Chemotherapy and Dose Intensification of the Radiation Boost in Locally Advanced Anal Canal Carcinoma: Final Analysis of the Randomized UNICANCER ACCORD 03 Trial
Didier Peiffert,Laetitia Tournier-Rangeard,Jean-Pierre Gerard,Claire Lemanski,Eric Francois,Marc Giovannini,Frédérique Cvitkovic,Xavier Mirabel,Olivier Bouché,Elisabeth Luporsi,Thierry Conroy,C. Montoto-Grillot,Françoise Mornex,Antoine Lusinchi,Jean-Michel Hannoun-Levi,Jean-François Seitz,Antoine Adenis,Christophe Hennequin,Bernard Denis,Michel Ducreux +19 more
TL;DR: Using CFS as the main end point, this trial did not find an advantage for either ICT or HD radiation boost in LAACC, and the results of the most treatment-intense arm B should prompt the design of further intensification studies.
Journal ArticleDOI
Radiotherapy for solitary extramedullary plasmacytoma in the head-and-neck region: A dose greater than 45 Gy to the target volume improves the local control
Laetitia Tournier-Rangeard,Michel Lapeyre,Pierre Graff-Caillaud,Alice Mege,Gilles Dolivet,Bruno Toussaint,Claire Charra-Brunaud,Sylvette Hoffstetter,Christian Marchal,Didier Peiffert +9 more
TL;DR: Local control of EMP in the HN seems to be improved when the dose to the CTV is > or = [DOSAGE ERROR CORRECTED] 45 Gy, and a minimum dose of 45 Gy should be recommended to theCTV.
Journal ArticleDOI
Responsiveness of EORTC QLQ-C30, QLQ-CR38 and FACT-C quality of life questionnaires in patients with colorectal cancer
Lionel Uwer,Christine Rotonda,Christine Rotonda,Francis Guillemin,Francis Guillemin,Joelle Miny,Marie-Christine Kaminsky,Mariette Mercier,Laetitia Tournier-Rangeard,Isabelle Leonard,Philippe Montcuquet,Philippe Rauch,T. Conroy +12 more
TL;DR: The EORTC QLQ-C30 questionnaire appears to be more responsive in patients receiving chemotherapy, particulary functional scales (SRM > 0.55) and the FACT-C questioned provided little clinically relevant information during chemotherapy or radiotherapy.
Journal ArticleDOI
Radiochemotherapy of locally advanced anal canal carcinoma: prospective assessment of early impact on the quality of life (randomized trial ACCORD 03).
Laetitia Tournier-Rangeard,Mariette Mercier,Didier Peiffert,Jean-Pierre Gerard,Pascale Romestaing,Claire Lemanski,Xavier Mirabel,Pascal Pommier,Bernard Denis +8 more
TL;DR: This is the first prospective study comparing QOL of patients with advanced anal canal carcinoma, before and 2 months after conservative treatment, and two months after treatment, QOL was improved.
