Journal ArticleDOI

Infinite dilution activity coefficients and gas-to-liquid partition coefficients of organic solutes dissolved in 1-sec-butyl-3-methylimidazolium bis(trifluoromethylsulfonyl)imide and in 1-tert-butyl-3-methylimidazolium bis(trifluoromethylsulfonyl)imide

TL;DR: Inverse gas chromatography was used to measure infinite dilution activity coefficients and gas-to-liquid partition coefficients for 48 organic solute probes in either 1-sec-butyl-3-methylimidazolium bis(trifluoromethylsulfonyl)imide or 1-tert -butyl 3methyloride-3methylamidazolate bis (triffluoromethemide) in the temperature range from 323.15 to 373.15 K as mentioned in this paper.
Journal ArticleDOI

Abraham model correlations for describing solute transfer into 4-methyl-2-pentanol from both water and the gas phase

TL;DR: In this paper, Abraham model correlations were derived by combining the measured solubility data determined in the present study with published experimental values taken from previous publications, and fifty experimental data points were used in determining the Abraham model correlation presented in this study.
Journal ArticleDOI

Abraham model correlations for solute transfer into benzyl alcohol from both water and the gas phase

TL;DR: Experimental solubilities have been determined for anthracene, benzil, 2-chloroanthraquinone, 9-fluorenone, 2hydroxybenzoic acid, 2 -methoxybenzosic acid and 3-methylbenzoics.
