TL;DR: In this article, the authors used the theory of planned behaviour to investigate the medical tourism beliefs of 336 undergraduate students in a basic psychology course at a large midwestern American university and found that they did not have positive intentions for travel to a developing country to receive medical treatment.

Drivers of clothing disposal in the US: An exploration of the role of personal attributes and behaviours in frequent disposal

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors explored the drivers of clothing waste and investigated the influence of demographic factors and personal attributes on disposal frequency, and found that fashion trend sensitivity, fashion shopping frequency, higher incomes, younger age groups and being female are all positively correlated with frequent clothing disposal.
