Technologies for the removal of phenol from fluid streams: a short review of recent developments.

TL;DR: The available technologies for the abatement of phenol from water and gaseous streams are briefly reviewed, and the recent advancements summarized.
Journal ArticleDOI

Catalytic abatement of NOx: Chemical and mechanistic aspects

TL;DR: In this article, the chemical and mechanistic aspects of the selective catalytic reduction (SCR) of NO by ammonia and by methane have been investigated, and the classical NH 3 -SCR process, operating near 600k over vanadia-titania-based catalysts, is shown to imply the activation of NO x in the form of an adsorbed oxidized species, that reacts with the reductant, CH 4, from the gas phase or activation into the zeolite channels.
Journal ArticleDOI

Ternary rare-earth aluminum systems with copper: A review and a contribution to their assessment

TL;DR: In this article, the constitutional data of the R-Cu-Al systems with R = rare earth are summarized and discussed, and the phase equilibria observed in the reported ternary systems are reviewed with special attention given to the isothermal and polythermal sections of the phase diagrams.
