Electrochemical lactate biosensor based upon chitosan/carbon nanotubes modified screen-printed graphite electrodes for the determination of lactate in embryonic cell cultures.

TL;DR: High performance liquid chromatography technique has been utilized to independently validate the electrochemical lactate biosensor for the determination of lactate in a commercial embryonic cell culture medium providing excellent agreement between the two analytical protocols.
Journal ArticleDOI

CO2 electroreduction to formate: Continuous single-pass operation in a filter-press reactor at high current densities using Bi gas diffusion electrodes

TL;DR: The authors of as discussed by the authors would like to show their gratitude to the financial support from the MINECO, through the projects CTQ2016-76231-C2-1-R and CTQ 2016-6231-c2-2-R (AEI/FEDER, UE).
Journal ArticleDOI

Electrochemical Reduction of CO2 to Formate on Easily Prepared Carbon-Supported Bi Nanoparticles

TL;DR: The electrochemical reduction of CO2 to formate on carbon-supported bismuth nanoparticles is reported, and it is observed that after about 70 h, the electrode deactivates due to the gradual loss of metal as shown by SEM/EDX analyses of the deactivated electrodes.
Journal ArticleDOI

Chitosan:poly (vinyl) alcohol composite alkaline membrane incorporating organic ionomers and layered silicate materials into a PEM electrochemical reactor

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors gratefully acknowledge the financial support from the Spanish Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness (MINECO) for CTQ2012-31229 project at the University of Cantabria, and MINECO-FEDER (Fondo Europeo de Desarrollo Regional (2014-2020)) through the CTQ2013-48280-C3-3-R project at University of Alicante.
Journal ArticleDOI

Self-discharge of AC/AC electrochemical capacitors in salt aqueous electrolyte

TL;DR: In this article, the authors are grateful to the Foundation for Polish Science (FNP) for funding the ECOLCAP project within the WELCOME program, co-financed from European Union Regional Development Fund.
