Unexpected shear dependence of pressure-induced γ-crystals in isotactic polypropylene
Shu-Gui Yang,Zheng-Chi Zhang,Liang-Qing Zhang,Dong Zhou,Yan Wang,Jun Lei,Liangbin Li,Zhong-Ming Li +7 more
TL;DR: In this article, a home-made pressure and shearing device with a reliable dynamic sealing design was used to study the formation and microstructure of γ-form isotactic polypropylene (iPP) obtained under the coexistence of flow and pressure.
Journal ArticleDOI
Coupling between intra- and inter-chain orderings in flow-induced crystallization of polyethylene: A non-equilibrium molecular dynamics simulation study.
TL;DR: The results demonstrate that the FIC of PE proceeds via a multi-stage ordering process, during which coupling occurs among stress, intra-chain conformation, and inter-chain orientation and density orderings.
Journal ArticleDOI
A dynamic phase field model with no attenuation of wave speed for rapid fracture instability in hyperelastic materials
TL;DR: In this article, a dynamic phase field model characterized by wave velocity invariance was developed to enable crack propagation at a velocity approach to the asymptotic limit, and an adaptive distorted mesh removal scheme (ADMR) was developed for finite element mesh distortion problem in large deformation fractures.
Journal ArticleDOI
In situ characterization of strain-induced crystallization of natural rubber by synchrotron radiation wide-angle X-ray diffraction: construction of a crystal network at low temperatures.
Pinzhang Chen,Jingyun Zhao,Yuanfei Lin,Jiarui Chang,Lingpu Meng,Daoliang Wang,Wei Chen,Liang Chen,Liangbin Li +8 more
TL;DR: The new crystal network provides a deep understanding of SIC of NR considering the microscopic features, i.e. oriented amorphous component, the onset of crystallization and crystallinity evolution and its correlation with the macroscopic stress-strain curve.
Journal ArticleDOI

TL;DR: In this article, a charged κ particle was observed in the analysis of the KSπ± system recoiling against Kσπ−∓ selected in J/ψ→KSKSπ+π−, and the mass and width values of the charged particle were obtained to be (826±49−34+49) and (449±156−81+144) MeV/c2, respectively.
