Transplantation with survivin-engineered mesenchymal stem cells results in better prognosis in a rat model of myocardial infarction.
Lin Fan,Chaogui Lin,Shuangmu Zhuo,Lianglong Chen,Nan Liu,Yukun Luo,Jun Fang,Zheng-rong Huang,Yunling Lin,Jianxin Chen +9 more
TL;DR: To investigate the effect of survivin (SVV)‐engineered mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) on post‐infarction cardiac performance and remodelling in rats, survivin-engineered MSCs are used as a ‘spatially aggregating agent’.
Journal ArticleDOI
Angiographic quantitative flow ratio-guided coronary intervention (FAVOR III China): a multicentre, randomised, sham-controlled trial.
Bo Xu,Shengxian Tu,Lei Song,Zening Jin,Bo Yu,Guosheng Fu,Yujie Zhou,Jian-an Wang,Yundai Chen,Jun Pu,Lianglong Chen,Xinkai Qu,Junqing Yang,Xuebo Liu,Lijun Guo,Chengxing Shen,Yao-Jun Zhang,Qi Zhang,Hongwei Pan,Xiaogang Fu,Jian K. Liu,Yanyan Zhao,Javier Escaned,Yang Wang,William F Fearon,Kefei Dou,Ajay J. Kirtane,Yongjian Wu,Patrick W. Serruys,Weixian Yang,William Wijns,Changdong Guan,Martin B. Leon,Shubin Qiao,Gregg W. Stone +34 more
TL;DR: The FAVOR III China trial as mentioned in this paper showed that a QFR-guided strategy of lesion selection for percutaneous coronary intervention improved 1-year clinical outcomes compared with standard angiography guidance.
Journal ArticleDOI
Artificial intelligence and optical coherence tomography for the automatic characterisation of human atherosclerotic plaques.
Miao Chu,Haibo Jia,Juan Luis Gutiérrez-Chico,Akiko Maehara,Ziad A. Ali,Xiaoling Zeng,Luping He,Chen Zhao,Mitsuaki Matsumura,Peng Wu,Ming Zeng,Takashi Kubo,Bo Xu,Lianglong Chen,Bo Yu,Gary S. Mintz,William Wijns,Niels Ramsing Holm,Shengxian Tu +18 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a deep convolutional network with encoding-decoding architecture and pseudo-3D input was developed and trained using hybrid loss, which was integrated into commercial software to be externally validated on additional IVOCT pullbacks from three international core labs.
Journal ArticleDOI
A meta-analysis of arterial spin labelling perfusion values for the prediction of glioma grade
TL;DR: Results indicate that tumour blood flow from ASL differs significantly with respect to the glioma grade, and there is evidence that ASL may be useful to distinguish high- and low-grade gliomas.
Journal ArticleDOI
Pharmacological postconditioning with tanshinone IIA attenuates myocardial ischemia-reperfusion injury in rats by activating the phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase pathway
TL;DR: Results demonstrate that tanshinone IIA postconditioning protects the myocardium from ischemia-reperfusion injury through the PI3K/Akt pathway, and the mitochondrial permeability transition (MPT) may be also involved in this process.
