Journal ArticleDOI
Genetic association of vitamin D receptor polymorphisms with autoimmune hepatitis and primary biliary cirrhosis in the Chinese.
Lie-ying Fan,Xiao-qing Tu,Ye Zhu,Lin Zhou,Thomas Pfeiffer,Ralph Feltens,Winfried Stoecker,Ren-qian Zhong +7 more
TL;DR: The association between Chinese patients with AIH, PBC and the polymorphisms in exon 2, intron 8 and exon 9 of vitamin D receptor genes was studied and it was found that these polymorphisms are associated with autoimmune diseases.
Journal ArticleDOI
Diagnostic Accuracy of Procalcitonin in Bacterial Meningitis Versus Nonbacterial Meningitis: A Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis
TL;DR: A systematic review and meta-analysis shows that PCT is a useful biomarker for BM diagnosis and the small number of studies included and the heterogeneous diagnostic thresholds adopted by eligible studies.
Journal ArticleDOI
A Possible Link Between Rheumatoid Arthritis and Periodontitis: A Systematic Review and Meta-analysis.
Qing-Qin Tang,Haitao Fu,Baodong Qin,Zhi-De Hu,Yaoting Liu,Yan Liang,Lin Zhou,Zaixing Yang,Renqian Zhong +8 more
TL;DR: It is indicated that rheumatoid arthritis was significantly associated with increased overall risk of periodontitis, and this meta-analysis indicates that RA was significantlyassociated with increasedOverall risk ofperiodontitis.
Journal Article
[Genetic association of tumor necrosis factor (TNF)-alpha polymorphisms with primary biliary cirrhosis and autoimmune liver diseases in a Chinese population].
TL;DR: The findings suggest that the TNF-alpha promoter-region polymorphisms distribution is different between a number of ethnic groups; there are no genetic links to AIH and PBC in Chinese.
Journal ArticleDOI
Relationship between red blood cell distribution width, bilirubin, and clinical characteristics of patients with gastric cancer.
Ting-Ting Wei,Li-Li Wang,Jian-Rong Yin,Y.-T. Liu,Baodong Qin,Jun Li,X. Yin,Lin Zhou,Renqian Zhong +8 more
TL;DR: Red blood cell distribution width and bilirubin have been proved to be prognostic factors for various types of cancer, but their prognostic value in patients with gastric cancer remains largely unknown.
