Effects of preparation methods on the morphology and properties of nanocellulose (NC) extracted from corn husk
TL;DR: In this paper, three kinds of corn husk nanocellulose (NC) were extracted via acid hydrolysis, TEMPO oxidation and high intensity ultrasonication methods, which was named AH-NC, TO-NC and US-NC.
Journal ArticleDOI
Enzymatic treatment of mechanochemical modified natural bamboo fibers
TL;DR: In this article, enzymes treatments on mechanochemically modified natural bamboo fibers were conducted to extract noncellulosic matters from finer natural bamboo fiber, and the optimum parameters were determined as: 0.6 % pectin lyase, 1.2 % cellulase, 0.3 % xylanase, and 1 2 % laccase; and the natural bamboo fibre thus obtained is 77.51 % in cellulose content, 2.81 tex in fineness, and 2.62 cN/dtex in tenacity.
Journal ArticleDOI
Studies of Moisture Absorption and Release Behaviour of Akund Fiber
TL;DR: In this paper, an effort has been made to study the moisture absorption and release behavior of Akund fiber and the mechanical performance of it at relative air humidity from 0% to 100%.
