Journal ArticleDOI

Identification of the Fungal Pathogens of Postharvest Disease on Peach Fruits and the Control Mechanisms of Bacillus subtilis JK-14.

TL;DR: In this paper, a total of six fungal isolates were isolated from peach fruits, and the isolates of Alternaria tenuis and Botrytis cinerea exhibited the highest pathogenicity and virulence on the host of mature peaches.
Journal ArticleDOI

Mechanisms and characterization of Trichoderma longibrachiatum T6 in suppressing nematodes (Heterodera avenae) in wheat

TL;DR: It is suggested that TL6 is potentially an effective bio-control agent for H. avenae because of the direct parasitic and lethal effect of TL6 on the eggs and J2s activity, and the induced defense response in wheat plants together.
Journal ArticleDOI

Differential Responses of Cucurbita pepo to Podosphaera xanthii Reveal the Mechanism of Powdery Mildew Disease Resistance in Pumpkin.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors investigated the responses of two commercial pumpkin cultivars to Podosphaera xanthii infection and found that the Sixing F1 and Jin12 F1 cultivars exhibited a much stronger ability in resistance to powdery mildew infection.
Journal ArticleDOI

Optimization of the Fermentation Media and Parameters for the Bio-control Potential of Trichoderma longibrachiatum T6 Against Nematodes.

TL;DR: The Minor Medium plus wheat bran-2 medium was found to be the most effective fermentation medium for T6 culture filtrates against the second stage juveniles (J2s) of H. avenae and provided a cost-efficient bio-resource in the future development of novel bio-control agents.
Journal Article

Parasitic and lethal action of Trichoderma longibrachiatum against Heterodera avenae

TL;DR: Trichoderma longibrachiatum had strong parasitic and lethal effects on the cysts of H. avenae, and has the potential as a new biocontrol agent.
