Journal ArticleDOI
A highly selective, fluorescent chemosensor for bioimaging of Fe3+
TL;DR: A fluorescent sensor for Fe(3+) has been synthesized based on rhodamine-lactam, which shows excitation and emission wavelength, displays an excellent selectivity for Fe (3+) and can be used for imaging Fe( 3+) in living cells.
Journal ArticleDOI
X-ray crystallographic and photophysical properties of rhodamine-based chemosensor for Fe3+
TL;DR: A fluorescent sensor for Fe3+, 2-[3',6'-bis(ethylamino)-2',7'-dimethyl-3-oxospiro[1H-isoindole-1,9'-[9H]xanthen]-2-((2-aminoethyl) methyl)]phenol, has been synthesized and characterized by 1H NMR, 13C NMR and X-ray crystallography.
Journal ArticleDOI
Synthesis and spectral properties of new boron dipyrromethene dyes
Binchen Guo,Xiaojun Peng,Aijun Cui,Yunkou Wu,Maozhong Tian,Lizhu Zhang,Xiaoqiang Chen,Yunling Gao +7 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a new BODIPY dyes have been synthesized via the condensation of R-CH2COCl (R = H, Br, Cl and Et2N) with 2,4-dimethylpyrrole and the coordination with BF3 etherate.
Journal ArticleDOI
Efficient enhancement of DNA cleavage activity by introducing guanidinium groups into diiron(III) complex
Xiaoqiang Chen,Jingyun Wang,Shiguo Sun,Jiangli Fan,Song Wu,Jianfeng Liu,Saijian Ma,Lizhu Zhang,Xiaojun Peng +8 more
TL;DR: DNA binding experiments indicated that introduction of positively charged guanidinium groups can obtain more than one order of magnitude enhancement in the affinity of complex with DNA.
Journal ArticleDOI
[(2-{[3',6'-Bis(ethyl-amino)-2',7'-dimethyl-3-oxospiro-[1H-isoindole-1,9'-9H-xanthen]-2-yl}eth-yl)amino-meth-yl]phenol.
TL;DR: The title compound, C35H38N4O3, was prepared as a spirolactam ring formation of rhodamine dye for comparison with a ring-opened form of xanthene.
