Interference Effect in Electron Emission in Heavy Ion Collisions with H~2 Detected by Comparison with the Measured Electron Spectrum from Atomic Hydrogen

TL;DR: Direct evidence of the interference effect in the electron emission spectra from ionization of molecular hydrogen in collisions with bare C and F ions at relatively low collision energies is presented.
Journal ArticleDOI

Influence of Young-type interference on the forward-backward asymmetry in electron emission from H 2 in collisions with 80-MeV bare C ions

TL;DR: In this article, the forward-backward angular asymmetry in the electron emission cross sections in fast ion impact ionization of H2 was used as a probe of the inversion symmetric coherence in homonuclear diatomic molecules.
Journal ArticleDOI

Effect of laser polarization on x-ray emission from Ar n (n=200-10 4 ) clusters in intense laser fields

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors show no functional dependence of argon K-shell x-ray emission on ellipticity, which is in contrast to polarization state dependences that have been observed in other facets of intense-laser interactions with gas-phase molecules, such as tunnel ionization and multiple tunnel ionisation, above threshold ionization, and high order harmonic generation.
