Studies on microemulsions using Brij 96 as surfactant and glycerin, ethylene glycol and propylene glycol as cosurfactants

TL;DR: In this article, the existence of microemulsion regions was investigated in quaternary systems composed of Brij 96 by constructing phase diagrams, and the diameter of the internal phase was determined as a function of the surfactant:cosurfactant ratio at a constant internal phase/oil ratio.

Method of making a rapidly dissolving tablet

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors described a tablet, and method for making such, which disintegrates or dissolves in a matter of just a few seconds once placed into the oral cavity.

Process for making a particulate support matrix for making a rapidly dissolving tablet

TL;DR: In this paper, a particulate support matrix for making a tablet, and a method for making such, which disintegrates or dissolves in a matter of just a few seconds once placed into the oral cavity.
Journal ArticleDOI

Dissolution rates of corticosteroids utilizing sugar glass dispersions

TL;DR: A method of increasing the dissolution rates of some orally administered corticosteroids using glass dispersions using dextrose, galactose, and sucrose as the carriers revealed a marked increase in the dissolution rate of the cortiosteroids contained in the solid dispersions when compared to the dissolution Rate of the plan corticosterone powder.

Rapidly dissolving dosage form

TL;DR: In this article, the authors describe a process for making a support matrix and dosage form, which disintegrate or dissolve in a matter of just a few seconds once placed into an aqueous environment.
