Proceedings ArticleDOI

A review on copy move image forgery detection techniques

TL;DR: A survey of different forging detection techniques with a focus on copy and move approaches is provided, which aims at restoring trust and acceptance in digital media by uncovering tampering methods.
Proceedings ArticleDOI

A critical look to some contrast enhancement evaluation measures

TL;DR: The intent of this paper is to provide a first critical review to some contrast enhancement evaluation measures and propose a new one and is considered as a first step towards the development of a unifying framework for image enhancement evaluation.
Proceedings ArticleDOI

An information based framework for performance evaluation of image enhancement methods

TL;DR: This work shows that the second order entropy and the mutual information can be used jointly for tracking and evaluating the effect of contrast enhancement, and it is shown that the variations of the Mutual information mimic, in a consistent way, human perceptual sensitivity to visual appearance of image changes due to contrast enhancement.
Proceedings ArticleDOI

A fast no reference image quality assessment using laws texture moments

TL;DR: A computationally efficient NR-IQA algorithm that uses basic filtering operations in spatial domain that is computationally less expensive than most existing techniques and suitable for real-time applications is introduced.
