Actinide expanded porphyrin complexes

TL;DR: In this paper, the UO22+ coordination chemistry of several prototypic expanded porphyrins is reviewed, and the ability of these expanded polypyrrolic ligands to stabilize complexes containing the uranyl cation is contrasted to that of the porphrin system.
Journal ArticleDOI

Synthesis and Characterization of All-Alkyl-Substituted Mono-, Di-, and Trioxosapphyrins

TL;DR: In this article, the synthesis and characterization of the following heterosapphyrins is presented: 3,7,18,22-tetraethyl-2,8,12,13,17,23-hexamethyl-27-oxasapphynin (5), 3, 8, 12, 13, 17, 22-hexaethyl -2,7-18, 23tetramethyl-15,29-dioxasapphrin (6), and 3, 7, 18, 22 -tetrasapphrynin
Journal ArticleDOI

New texaphyrin-type expanded porphyrins

TL;DR: In this article, a Schiff-base type expanded porphyrin was synthesized and a tetraazacyclodotetradecane-linked texaphyrin system has been prepared, as its gadoliniu'n(II1) adduct, displays a relaxivity in aqueous solution.
