Rhizobium strains from wild and primitive legumes: A nuisance or a valuable gene pool?

TL;DR: Soils from several European countries contain strains of Rhizobium capable of forming effective nodules on the cultivated pea cultivar Rondo, and the range of effectivity is not so great and almost the same range can be found within each country.
