Journal ArticleDOI
The genetic constitutions of complementary genes Pp and Pb determine the purple color variation in pericarps with cyanidin-3-O-glucoside depositions in black rice
M.H. Rahman .,Kyung Eun Lee,Eun Sun Lee,Mohammad Nurul Matin,Dong Sun Lee,Jeong Sik Yun,Jong Bae Kim,Sang Gu Kang +7 more
TL;DR: The Pp allele in rice is incompletely dominant to the recessive pp allele; thus, the number of dominant Pp alleles determines the concentration of cyanidin-3-O-glucoside in black rice.
Journal ArticleDOI

Regeneration of Shoot from Cotyledon Derived Callus of Chickpea (Cicer arietinum L.)
Journal ArticleDOI
Effects of Genotype on Induction of Callus and Plant Regeneration Potential in vitro Anther Culture of Rice (Oryza sativa L.)
Journal ArticleDOI
Studies on the effects of pericarp pigmentation on grain development and yield of black rice
TL;DR: It is suggested that the low yield of black rice is closely related to physiological factors other than the genetic yield traits, including anthocyanin deposition in the pericarp, which hindered the photosynthetic rate, leading to low yield.
