The effect of solar radiation variations on the climate of the Earth
TL;DR: In this article, the influence of long-term changes of radiation caused by variations of atmospheric transparency on the thermal regime is studied, and it is found that comparatively small variations in atmospheric transparency could be sufficient for the development of quaternary glaciations.

The heat balance of the earth's surface
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors discuss the present state of knowledge of the basic components of the heat balance of the earth's surface (radiation balance, loss of heat to evaporation, turbulent heat exchange) and the distribution of these components in time and space.
Heat balance of the Earth
TL;DR: In this paper, the heat balance components of Earth's surface are reported for yearly average conditions for both land and sea-based actinometric observations as well as from satellite data on the radiation balance of the Earth-atmosphere system.
The heat balance of the earth
TL;DR: In this article, the heat-balance components of Earth's surface were derived from land and sea-based actinometric observations as well as from satellite data on the radiation balance of the Earth-atmosphere system.
