Journal ArticleDOI
Formic acid oxidation on Pdad + Pt(100) and Pdad + Pt(111) electrodes
TL;DR: In this article, the authors examined the effect of adsorbed palladium on formic acid oxidation and found that the activation of the modified Pdad + Pt(100) electrocatalyst was higher than that of bulk palladium.
Journal ArticleDOI
Electrochemical structure-sensitive behaviour of irreversibly adsorbed palladium on Pt(100), Pt(111) and Pt(110) in an acidic medium
TL;DR: In this article, the effect of ad-palladium on hydrogen and oxygen electrosorption was investigated on the three basal orientations by voltammetric study of the adspecies.
Journal ArticleDOI
Preliminary study of the electrochemical adsorption behaviour of a palladium modified Pt(111) electrode in the whole range of coverage
Journal ArticleDOI
Formic acid oxidation on Pt(111) electrodes modified by irreversibly adsorbed selenium
TL;DR: In this paper, the irreversible adsorption of selenium on Pt(111) electrodes has been studied for formic acid oxidation and the effect of the surface structure of the adlayer on the electrode surface.
Journal ArticleDOI
Oxidation of formic acid on Pt(100) electrodes modified by irreversibly adsorbed tellurium
TL;DR: In this article, the electrocatalytic behavior of tellurium modified Pt(100) electrodes for formic acid oxidation was investigated, and it was found that the catalysis enhancement of formic acids oxidation was due primarily to the inhibition of poison formation.
