Journal ArticleDOI
Added value of cerebro-placental ratio and uterine artery Doppler at routine third trimester screening as a predictor of SGA and FGR in non-selected pregnancies.
M. Rial-Crestelo,Raigam Jafet Martinez-Portilla,A. Cancemi,Javier Caradeux,L Fernandez,Anna Peguero,E. Gratacós,Francesc Figueras +7 more
TL;DR: The added value of CPR and uterine Doppler at 33 weeks of gestation for detecting defective growth is poor and the explained uncertainty of the predicting models for SGA and FGR improved but did not change the predictive performance for FGR.
Journal ArticleDOI
Quality assessment of fetal middle cerebral and umbilical artery Doppler images using an objective scale within an international randomized controlled trial
M. Rial-Crestelo,José Morales-Roselló,Edgar Hernandez-Andrade,Federico Prefumo,Daniel Oros,D Caffici,Alexandros Sotiriadis,Eyal Zohav,Rogelio Cruz-Martinez,Mauro Parra-Cordero,Marek Lubusky,Marian Kacerovsky,F. Figueras +12 more
TL;DR: To determine the quality of Doppler images of the fetal middle cerebral artery and umbilical artery using an objective scale, and to determine the reliability of this scale within a multicenter randomized controlled trial (Revealed versus concealed criteria for placental insufficiency in unselected obstetric population in late pregnancy (Ratio37)).
Journal ArticleDOI
Longitudinal change in cerebro-placental ratio (CPR) between 37 and 40 weeks of pregnancy is associated with non-reassuring fetal status and increased risk of cesarean section
A. Cancemi,M. Rial-Crestelo,Judit Martínez,M. Giannone,B. Sanchez-Hoyo,Nora Izquierdo-Sánchez,Cristina Cobos-Serrano,Sonia Matías-Ponce,Sonia Mayordomo-Gallardo,Stefan R. Hansson,Francesc Figueras +10 more
TL;DR: In this article , the longitudinal change in cerebroplacental ratio (CPR) between 37 and 40 weeks of pregnancy is associated with cesarean section for non-reassuring fetal status (NRFS) during labor.
Journal ArticleDOI
Prescriptive Reference Standards of Third-Trimester Cerebroplacental Ratio and Its Physiological Determinants.
M. Rial-Crestelo,Laura García-Otero,A. Cancemi,Mariella Giannone,Elena Escazzocchio,Alex Biterna,Elena Ferriols,Jose Luis Hernandez,Marek Lubusky,Veronika Kolarova,Ladislav Krofta,J. Vojtech,Eyal Zohav,Karina Krajden,Rogelio Cruz-Martinez,Monica Cruz-Lemini,Mauro Parra-Cordero,Pamela Socias,Fatima Crispi,Marta López,Eduard Gratacós,Francesc Figueras +21 more
TL;DR: This study provides methodologically sound prescriptive standards and suggests that maternal body mass index is a determinant of a cutoff commonly used for decision-making.
Journal ArticleDOI
Effect of Maternal and Fetal Characteristics in Feto-Placental Doppler and Impact of Using Adjusted Standards in the Definition of Fetal Growth Restriction at Term.
M. Rial-Crestelo,Ana Rosy Velasco-Santiago,Marek Lubusky,Katerina Hermanova,Anna Kajdy,Jan Modzelewski,Ladislav Krofta,J. Vojtech,Elena Ferriols-Pérez,Carol Rueda-García,Mauro Parra-Cordero,Pamela Socias,Eyal Zohav,Monica Cruz-Lemini,Eduard Gratacós,Francesc Figueras +15 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the effect and clinical impact of physiological characteristics on the 95th/5th centile of the umbilical artery Doppler and the cerebroplacental ratio (CPR) at 36+ weeks was investigated.
