This paper presents a 900 M low-power, low-noise receiver frontend implemented using TSMC 0.18-μm CMOS technology. The inductorless frontend comprises a low-noise amplifier (LNA) using bulk injection, a mixer, and an active balun operating in the subthreshold region. The front end achieves a conversion gain of 33.7 dB, and a 2.9 dB single sideband noise figure. The chip consumes 5.9 mA from a 0.9-V supply. The front end was simulated and fabricated using the TSMC 1P6M 0.18μm CMOS process.

Low-power Low-noise inductorless Front-end for IoT applications

The main results of RETwix development are presented in the paper. RETwix is an universal hardware and software means for laboratory research, which can be used for investigation both electronic components and arbitrary electrical, thermal, chemical or biochemical processes. Sensors, actuators and signal transducers of the Analog Front-End are used for this purpose. The RETwix means includes two CV-LAB devices (Capacitance & Voltage LABoratory) and UA-LAB (Universal Analog LABoratory). The peculiarities of construction and examples of RETwix using are described.

The article contains a review of selected classification methods of dermatoscopic images with human skin lesions, taking into account various stages of dermatological disease. The described algorithms are widely used in the diagnosis of skin lesions, such as artificial neural networks (CNN, DCNN), random forests, SVM, kNN classifier, AdaBoost MC and their modifications. The effectiveness, specificity and accuracy of classifications based on the same data sets were also compared and analyzed.
