Experimental evaluation of stable long term operation of semiconductor magnetic sensors at ITER relevant environment
Inessa Bolshakova,Sergey Belyaev,M. Bulavin,V. Brudnyi,V. A. Chekanov,V. Coccorese,I. Duran,S.N. Gerasimov,Roman Holyaka,N. I. Kargin,R. F. Konopleva,Ya. Kost,T. Kuech,S. A. Kulikov,O. Makido,Ph. Moreau,A. Murari,A. Quercia,F. Shurygin,M.N. Strikhanov,S. Timoshyn,I. S. Vasil’evskii,A. N. Vinichenko +22 more
TL;DR: In this article, the results of measurements conducted at the neutron fluxes of nuclear reactors have demonstrated the operability of the sensors up to high neutron fluences of F > 1018n cm−2 that exceeds the maximum one for the locations of steady state sensors in ITER over its total lifetime.
Proceedings ArticleDOI
Development of 4 tesla permanent magnet
TL;DR: In this paper, strong dipole permanent magnet models for various kinds of accelerator applications are under development at NIRS and field strengths exceeding 4 Tesla in the magnet gap are achieved by an extended Halbach type magnet configuration.
Journal ArticleDOI
Magnetic Measuring Instrumentation With Radiation-Resistant Hall Sensors for Fusion Reactors: Experience of Testing at JET
Inessa Bolshakova,A. Quercia,V. Coccorese,Andrea Murari,Roman Holyaka,I. Duran,Ladislav Viererbl,R. F. Konopleva,V. Yerashok +8 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors discuss the principles of designing the magnetic measurement instrumentation based on the application of steady-state radiation-resistant semiconductor Hall sensors, and present the results of the instrumentation's application for ex-vessel magnetic field measurement on JET reactor during the latest deuterium campaign, and the prospects of further enhancement in magnetic diagnostic accuracy and reliability.
Journal ArticleDOI
Development of high field permanent magnet
M. Kumada,I. Fujisawa,Y. Hirao,Yoshihisa Iwashita,M. Endo,M. Aoki,T. Kohda,Inessa Bolshakova,Roman Holyaka +8 more
TL;DR: In this paper, it was shown that a permanent dipole magnet exceeding a typical permanent magnet more than by factor 3 is possible, and a new challenge is to conceive such magnet for an accelerator application where time dependent alternating field is often requested.
Journal ArticleDOI
Performance of Hall Sensor-Based Devices for Magnetic Field Diagnosis at Fusion Reactors
TL;DR: In this paper, Bolshakova et al. presented a Hall Sensor-Based Device for Magnetic Field Diagnosis at Fusion Reactors (HSD-FRE) at the National Technical University of Athens.
