Micro active catheter system with multi degrees of freedom
TL;DR: Experimental results indicate that the proposed MAC is applicable to intracavity operations and the model of the MAC is reasonable for practical applications.
Proceedings ArticleDOI
Micro catheter system with active guide wire
TL;DR: Experimental results indicate that the proposed micro active catheter with active guide wire that has two bending degrees of freedom is applicable to intracavity operations.
Proceedings ArticleDOI
New catheter driving method using linear stepping mechanism for intravascular neurosurgery
TL;DR: A new slave device with a disposable structure employing the mechanism of a mechanical pencil for safe operation is developed in the master-slave system and the new remote control system of catheter operation with safety is constructed.
Journal ArticleDOI
Surgical Treatment for Pediatric Moyamoya Disease: Use of the Superficial Temporal Artery for Both Areas Supplied by the Anterior and Middle Cerebral Arteries
TL;DR: The results suggest that the placement of bilateral burr holes, in addition to the STA-MCA anastomosis, encephaloduroarteriosynangiosis, and encephalomyosynangia, is very effective in vascularizing the ischemic ACA and MCA territories in pediatric patients with moyamoya disease.
