Achievement Goal Orientations and Self-Regulation in Writing : An Integrative Perspective

On the concept “chemical equilibrium”: The associative framework

TL;DR: After studying the subject of chemical equilibrium at school the two concepts merged towards one, i.e., becoming synonymous, which can provide an explanation for misconceptions associated with chemical equilibrium via the transfer of static attributes from “equilibrium” to the dynamic “chemical equilibrium”.
Journal ArticleDOI

Misconceptualization of the chemical equilibrium concept as revealed by different evaluation methods

TL;DR: In this paper, three evaluation methods were applied to examine students' mastery of the chemical equilibrium concept: (i) a school achievement test, (ii) a misconception test specifically designed to pinpoint possible misconceptions regarding eight central features (ideas) of the Chemical equilibrium concept, and (iii) the free sorting of 18 concepts related to chemical equilibrium that served as a tool for cognitive structure mapping.
Journal ArticleDOI

The educational-cultural edge: A participative learning environment for co-emergence of personal and institutional growth

Journal ArticleDOI

On the chemical equilibrium concept: Constrained word associations and conception
