TL;DR: Exposure to welding fumes increases the risk of lung cancer, regardless of the type of steel welded, the welding method (arc vs gas welding) and independent of exposure to asbestos or tobacco smoking.

TL;DR: In this paper , the authors evaluated whether there was an association between early CAC increase and cardiac exposure, based on a population of 101 breast cancer patients with CAC score measured before and 2 years after radiotherapy, and 28 patients presenting higher cardiac exposure than others.
