The present study has as aim verify the relation between Epstein ́s Constructive Thinking Inventory (CTI, 2001) and the emotional development questionnaire for adults (CDEA) elaborated by GROP (Group of Investigation in Counselling Psycho Pedagogical of Barcelona University). Both instruments were used as measures to evaluate the Emotional Intelligence, in the search for sustaining formative actions that favour the promotion and the development of emotional skills and consequently, the personal and social well-being of those persons with whom we have occasion to work. It comes both instruments of evaluation, as well as a correlational study depending on the results offered by a sample of university students of the Pedagogy Degree at Barcelona University, which gives place to an interesting discussion concerning the question: Why and so that to use instruments of related measures to Emotional Intelligence?
