TL;DR: Random samples of freshmen at a junior college and a university were administered 5 scales from the California Psychological Inventory in 1958–60, and to similarly obtained samples from the same institutions in 1970–71, and significant decade differences in mean scores by sex group were obtained.

TL;DR: In this article, four groups of college-age women were used to determine the relationship between absence of father in childhood and adult self-concept and interpersonal relationships with men, and the results revealed no significant differences among groups in most areas of selfconcept or interpersonal relationship with both older and age-peer men.
