Experimental and computational studies on toughness enhancement in Ti-Al-Ta-N quaternaries
Marián Mikula,M. Truchlý,Davide Sangiovanni,Dušan Plašienka,Tomas Roch,Maros Gregor,P. Ďurina,Marián Janík,Peter Kúš +8 more
TL;DR: In this paper, experimental methods supported by ab initio density functional theory (DFT) calculations and electronic structure analyses are used to investigate the mechanical behavior of magnetron sputtered Ti-Al-Ta-N hard coatings.
Radio frequency driven superconducting diode and parity conserving Cooper pair transport in a two-dimensional germanium hole gas
Marica Valentini,O. Sági,Jason Jung,Stefano Calcaterra,Andrea Ballabio,Juan Luis Aguilera Servin,Kushagra Aggarwal,Marián Janík,R. Seoane Souto,Martin Leijnse,Jeroen Danon,Constantin Schrade,Erik P. A. M. Bakkers,Daniel Chrastina,Giovanni Isella,Georgios Katsaros +15 more
TL;DR: In this paper , the induced superconductivity in two-dimensional germanium hole gas by varying the distance between the quantum well and the aluminum was investigated, and a superconducting quantum interference device (SQUID) was used to tune the current phase relation to a regime where single Cooper pair tunneling is suppressed.
