Journal ArticleDOI

A mineral trioxide aggregate sealer stimulated mineralization.

TL;DR: It was possible to conclude that Endo-CPM-Sealer was biocompatible and stimulated mineralization.
Journal ArticleDOI

Mineral Trioxide Aggregate but not Light-cure Mineral Trioxide Aggregate Stimulated Mineralization

TL;DR: It was possible to conclude that light-cure MTA was similar to MTA at 60 days, but it did not stimulate mineralization, and the Angelus MTA showed a mild inflammatory response at 30 days and none at60 days.
Journal ArticleDOI

Comparison of the biocompatibility of different root canal irrigants

TL;DR: Rat subcutaneous connective tissue to 0.9% sterile saline, 2.5% sodium hypochlorite (NaOCl), 5.25% NaOCl and 2% chlorhexidine gluconate solution or gel showed a good biocompatibility, as very mild inflammatory reaction was detected at 14 days and tissue repair occurred at 30 days.
Journal ArticleDOI

Prevalence of dental trauma in patients with cerebral palsy

TL;DR: The frequency of traumatic injuries showed no significant correlation with the type of cerebral palsy or gender and they were more frequent in subjects between the ages of 0 and 12 years, and having epilepsy was not a statistically significant risk factor for dental trauma.
Journal ArticleDOI

Evaluation of rat alveolar bone response to Angelus MTA or experimental light-cured mineral trioxide aggregate using fluorochromes.

TL;DR: It was concluded that both materials present a similar inflammatory response and bone healing, but dystrophic mineralization was observed only with Angelus MTA.
