Layered memristive and memcapacitive switches for printable electronics
Alexander Bessonov,M. N. Kirikova,Dmitrii I. Petukhov,Dmitrii I. Petukhov,Mark Allen,Tapani Ryhänen,Marc J. A. Bailey +6 more
TL;DR: It is demonstrated that solution-processed MoOx/MoS2 and WOx/WS2 heterostructures sandwiched between two printed silver electrodes exhibit an unprecedentedly large and tunable electrical resistance range from 10(2) to 10(8) Ω combined with low programming voltages of 0.1-0.2 V.

Method and apparatus for joining together multiple functional layers of a flexible display
TL;DR: In this article, the authors propose a mechanism to join together the various substrate layers of a flexible display with optically clear adhesives that permit improved flexibility of the substrate layer stack and may also optically guide images to locations on a display surface that are not aligned with the display layer of a substrate stack stack.

An apparatus and method for sensing
Chris Bower,Mark Allen +1 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors presented an apparatus and method for sensing which consists of a sensor circuit which comprises: a first output terminal, a second output terminal and a sensor that is provided in a bridge circuit arrangement.
Patent
Flexible electronics apparatus and associated methods
TL;DR: In this article, an apparatus comprising a flexible substrate and an overhanging electronic component island, where the electronic component is configured to be less flexible than the substrate and comprising one or more electronic components, is presented.
