TL;DR: In this article, a case study for assessing the impacts of biodiesel production on freshwater biodiversity is introduced, where two substances, namely phosphorus and 1,4-dichlorobenzene (DCB), which are used for the biodiesel consumption for fertilization and the usage of pesticides, are being considered.

Enhancing the Water Footprint Method to a Region Specific Management Tool
TL;DR: In this article, a region specific WF inventory and midpoint impact assessment for the cotton-textile value chain in Pakistan is introduced, where locally relevant parameters are identified and included into the water consumption inventory and water availability database.
