Dynamical model of traffic congestion and numerical simulation

TL;DR: In this model, the legal velocity function is introduced, which is a function of the headway of the preceding vehicle, and the evolution of traffic congestion is observed with the development of time.
Journal ArticleDOI

Nonlinear Realization and Hidden Local Symmetries

TL;DR: The idea of dynamical gauge bosons of hidden local symmetries in nonlinear sigma models is reviewed in this article, where it is shown that any nonlinear Sigma model based on the manifold G/H is gauge equivalent to a linear model possessing a Gglobal × Hlocal symmetry, Hlocal being a hidden local symmetry.
Journal ArticleDOI

Is the ρ Meson a Dynamical Gauge Boson of Hidden Local Symmetry

TL;DR: It is suggested that the $\ensuremath{\rho}$ meson is a dynamical gauge boson of a hidden local symmetry in the non-linear chiral Lagrangian.
Journal ArticleDOI

Scale-invariant hypercolor model and a dilaton.

TL;DR: A scale-invariant hypercolor model with a nontrivial ultraviolet fixed point having large anomalous dimension is proposed, which resolves the notorious flavor-changing neutral-current problem in hypercolor models and predicts a Nambu-Goldstone boson (dilaton) associated with the spontaneous breakdown of the scale invariance.
Journal ArticleDOI

Analysis of optimal velocity model with explicit delay

TL;DR: In this paper, the optimal velocity model with explicit delay is analyzed and the properties of congestion and the delay time of car motion are investigated by analytical and numerical methods, and it is shown that the small explicit delay time has almost no effects.
