Journal ArticleDOI
Spectrum of autoantibodies against a dynamin-related protein, dymple.
TL;DR: Dymple, which joins the cytoplasmic autoantigens, could be a marker for a newly recognized subset of connective tissue diseases.
Journal ArticleDOI
Different effects of methylphenidate and atomoxetine on the behavior and brain transcriptome of zebrafish
TL;DR: Interestingly, it was found that shared differentially expressed genes in MPH-treated and ATX-treated fish were instrumental in cholesterol biosynthesis pathway and were regulated in opposite manner.
Journal ArticleDOI
Synthetic ligand promotes gene expression by affecting GC sequence in promoter
TL;DR: The whole-transcriptome analysis showed that NCT8 significantly induced up-regulation of specific genes, whose promoter region has GC-rich sequence.

Switching of OAS1 splicing isoforms mitigates SARS-CoV-2 infection
Kei Iida,Masahiko Ajiro,Yukiko Muramoto,Toru Takenaga,Masatsugu Denawa,Ryo Kurosawa,Takeshi Noda,Masatoshi Hagiwara +7 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors found that inhibition of CDC-like kinase with a small chemical compound induces switching of OAS1 splice isoforms in human lung cells, which indicated the possibility of using chemical splicing modifiers aided by genome-based precision medicine to boost the innate immune response against SARS-CoV-2 infection.
