Host (nanocavity of zeolite-Y)/guest (12- and 14-membered azamacrocyclic Ni(II) complexes) nanocatalyst: synthesis, characterization and catalytic oxidation of cyclohexene with molecular oxygen

TL;DR: In this article, Ni(II) complexes of NiN4 have been encapsulated in the nanopores of zeolite-Y by a two-step process in the liquid phase: (i) adsorption of [bis(diamine)nickel (II)]; [Ni(N)-N)2]−NaY; in the supercages of the Zeolite, and (ii) in situ condensation of the nickel( II) precursor complex with diethyloxalate.
Journal ArticleDOI

A Simple Sonochemical Route for Synthesis Silver Selenide Nanoparticles From SeCl4 and Silver Salicylate

TL;DR: A simple approach based on reaction between silver salicylate as an inorganic precursor, SeCl4, and hydrazine hydrate (N2H4) via sonochemical route for the fabrication of silver selenide (Ag2Se) nanoparticles was described in this article.
Journal ArticleDOI

Synthesis and Characterization of CdCO3 Nanostructures via Simple Hydrothermal Method

TL;DR: In this article, a simple hydrothermal method by Cd(NO3)2, ethylenediamine and hydrazine as reagents was used to synthesize CdCO3 nanostructures.
Journal ArticleDOI

Holmium(III)-selective fluorimetric optode based on N,N-bis(salicylidene)-naphthylene-1,8-diamine as a neutral fluorogenic ionophore.

TL;DR: The fluorescence optode was applied to determination of holmium ion contents of water samples and shows a good selectivity towards Ho(3+) ion with respect to common coexisting cations.
