The Tetrameric Aluminum(I) Compound [{Al(η5‐C5Me5)}4]
Journal ArticleDOI
Bioorganometallic fulvene-derived titanocene anti-cancer drugs
Katja Strohfeldt,Matthias Tacke +1 more
TL;DR: An insight is provided into the synthesis of fulvene-derived titanocenes and their activity in preclinical experiments and it is shown that metal-based anti-cancer drugs may come from this simple and effective synthetic approach.
Journal ArticleDOI
Die tetramere Aluminium(I)‐Verbindung [{Al(η5‐C5Me5)}4]
Journal ArticleDOI
Novel benzyl-substituted N-heterocyclic carbene–silver acetate complexes: synthesis, cytotoxicity and antibacterial studies
Siddappa A. Patil,Anthony Deally,Brendan Gleeson,Helge Müller-Bunz,Francesca Paradisi,Matthias Tacke +5 more
TL;DR: Six NHC-silver complexes showed improved cytotoxicity against Caki-1, most notably for 4c, which is a three times more cytotoxic than cisplatin (IC₅₀ value = 3.3 μM) itself.
Journal ArticleDOI
N-heterocyclic carbene metal complexes as bio-organometallic antimicrobial and anticancer drugs
Siddappa A. Patil,Shivaputra A. Patil,Renukadevi Patil,Rangappa S. Keri,Srinivasa Budagumpi,Geetha R. Balakrishna,Matthias Tacke +6 more
TL;DR: This review article focuses on the recent developments and advances in preparation and characterization of NHC-metal complexes and their biomedical applications and their antimicrobial and anticancer efficacies.
