Journal ArticleDOI

The influence of the Nd:YAG laser bleaching on physical and mechanical properties of the dental enamel.

TL;DR: Nd:YAG laser associated with hydrogen peroxide bleached the enamel, the shade being similar to that obtained with the traditional method performed with halogen light and the Vickers' microhardness and bond strength values were not altered in comparison with those for nonbleached enamel.
Journal ArticleDOI

Bond Strength of a Novel One Bottle Multi-mode Adhesive to Human Dentin After Six Months of Storage

TL;DR: In this article, the authors evaluated the microtensile bond strength (µTBS) of Scotchbond Universal to dentin using the etch-and-rinse or the self-etch technique after 24 hours and 6 months of storage.
Journal ArticleDOI

Does immediate dentin sealing influence the polymerization of impression materials

TL;DR: Resin materials interacted with impression materials and the application of glycerin jelly and alcohol prevented the interaction of CSE with Express XT and PLF with Impregum; however, these treatments were not completely effective in preventing the interaction.
Journal Article

Influence of Nd:YAG laser irradiation on microtensile bond strength of adhesive systems to sound or carious dentin.

TL;DR: After excavating a cavity with caries-affected dentin, the use of Nd:YAG laser followed by a self-etching adhesive system is the best clinical choice when considering bond strength, compared with the total etching- based system and laser.
Journal ArticleDOI

Relined Fiberglass Post: Effect of Luting Length, Resin Cement, and Cyclic Loading on the Bond to Weakened Root Dentin

TL;DR: Luting length is an important factor in retaining RFPs in weakened roots when they are subjected to cyclic loading, and RelyX U200 resulted in greater bond strengths to the root canal in comparison with Rely X ARC.
