Combined use of photocatalyst and adsorbent for the removal of inorganic arsenic(III) and organoarsenic compounds from aqueous media.

TL;DR: A novel method for the removal of inorganic arsenic(III) (As(III), monomethylarsonate (MMA), and dimethylarsinate (DMA) from aqueous media, which involves the combined use of TiO2-photocatalyst and an adsorbent, which has a high ability of As(V) adsorption, under photo-irradiation.

Degradation of organoarsenic compounds by a hydrothermal or photo‐oxidation process

TL;DR: The degradation of organoarsenic compounds by a hydrothermal process and by photo-oxidation was studied in this article, where 4-aminophenylarsonic acid (4-APA) was treated hydrothermally, almost complete degradation into an inorganic arsenic compound (arsenate, IA) was attained by use of 1.0-3.0 M NaOH solution at 200°C.
