N-doped TiO2 nanosheets for photocatalytic degradation and mineralization of diazinon under simulated solar irradiation: Optimization and modeling using a response surface methodology
Amir-Ahmad Salarian,Zahra Hami,Nezam Mirzaei,Seyed Mohsen Mohseni,Anvar Asadi,Anvar Asadi,Hamideh Bahrami,Mehdi Vosoughi,Abdolazim Alinejad,Mohammad Zare +9 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the nitrogen doped TiO2 (N-TiO2) was synthesized via a facile hydrothermal method using titanium (IV) butoxide as a titanium precursor and urea as a dopant source.
Journal ArticleDOI
A novel, eco-friendly and green synthesis of PPAC-ZnO and PPAC-nZVI nanocomposite using pomegranate peel: Cephalexin adsorption experiments, mechanisms, isotherms and kinetics
Yousef Rashtbari,Sadegh Hazrati,Ali Azari,Ali Azari,Shirin Afshin,Mehdi Fazlzadeh,Mehdi Fazlzadeh,Mehdi Vosoughi +7 more
TL;DR: In this paper, powdered activated carbon coated by nanoparticles ZnO and nZVI was derived from pomegranate peel extracts and finally applied for removal of cephalexin (CEX) from aqueous solutions.
Journal ArticleDOI
An evaluation of hospital admission respiratory disease attributed to sulfur dioxide ambient concentration in Ahvaz from 2011 through 2013.
Gholamreza Goudarzi,Sahar Geravandi,Esmaeil Idani,Seyyed Ahmad Hosseini,Mohammad Mehdi Baneshi,Ahmad Reza Yari,Mehdi Vosoughi,Sina Dobaradaran,Saeed Shirali,Mohammad Bagherian Marzooni,Ali Ghomeishi,Nadali Alavi,Seyedeh Shaghayegh Alavi,Mohammad Javad Mohammadi +13 more
TL;DR: The finding of this study showed that total mean of sulfur dioxide was higher than standard concentration, and obnoxious quality of fuel and some deficiencies in maintenance and operation of industries lead to worse quality of ambient air especially in 2013.
Journal ArticleDOI
Study of heavy metal levels in indoor dust and their health risk assessment in children of Ahvaz city, Iran
Abdolkazem Neisi,Gholamreza Goudarzi,Ali Akbar Babaei,Mehdi Vosoughi,Hassan Hashemzadeh,Abolfazl Naimabadi,Mohammad Javad Mohammadi,Bayram Hashemzadeh +7 more
TL;DR: Household dust of Ahvaz city would probably have a significant potential to cause cancer in most exposed children.
Journal ArticleDOI
The efficacy of sono-electro-Fenton process for removal of Cefixime antibiotic from aqueous solutions by response surface methodology (RSM) and evaluation of toxicity of effluent by microorganisms
TL;DR: In this paper, the performance of the electro-Fenton and ultrasonic process was evaluated separately and in combination under optimal conditions, and the results showed that the biological toxicity of the outlet effluent from the sono-electro-fenton process, compared to the inlet solution, was significantly reduced.
