Journal ArticleDOI
Radiation-induced synthesis of mono- and multi-metallic clusters and nanocolloids
Jacqueline Belloni,Mehran Mostafavi,Hynd Remita,Jean-Louis Marignier,and Marie-Odile Delcourt +4 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a review is devoted to metal cluster synthesis in solution via radiolytic reduction of ionic precursors under the proper conditions, and the size and structure of the final particles are described in relation to the nucleation and growth mechanism of the process.
Journal ArticleDOI
Dose Rate Effects on Radiolytic Synthesis of Gold-Silver Bimetallic Clusters in Solution
Mona Treguer,C. de Cointet,Hynd Remita,J. Khatouri,Mehran Mostafavi,J. Amblard,Jacqueline Belloni,R. de Keyzer +7 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the radiolysis of mixed AuIII/AgI solutions at different dose rates is examined and the progressive evolution with dose of the UV−visible absorption spectra of radiation-induced metal clusters is discussed and compared with those calculated by Mie theory.
Journal ArticleDOI
Absolute calibration for a broad range single shot electron spectrometer
Y. Glinec,Jérôme Faure,A. Guemnie-Tafo,Victor Malka,H. Monard,J.-P. Larbre,V. De Waele,Jean-Louis Marignier,Mehran Mostafavi +8 more
TL;DR: In this article, a single shot electron spectrometer was used to characterize electron beams produced by laser-plasma interaction and an absolute calibration of the Lanex Kodak Fine screen on a laser-triggered radio frequency picosecond electron accelerator was provided.
Journal ArticleDOI
Ultra-slow aggregation process for silver clusters of a few atoms in solution
TL;DR: In this article, three different types of oligomers have been characterized by their optical spectra peaking at 300, 335 and 380 nm and assigned to (Ag n 0, Ag m + ) with approximate aggregation numbers respectively n ≲ 1 − 3, n − 4 − 7 and n ≳ 4.
Journal ArticleDOI
Bimetallic AgPt and AuPt aggregates synthesized by radiolysis
TL;DR: In this paper, the bimetallic character is evidenced by the spectral changes of such sols compared to pure silver sols which display a characteristic surface plasmon absorption band.
