TL;DR: The present data suggest that the CT and TT genotypes of the OPN rs1126616 polymorphism could be a risk factor for lupus nephritis and there was no association between the OPM C/T polymorphism and SLE susceptibility.

Lack of relationship between endothelial nitric oxide synthase gene 4b/a and T-786C polymorphisms with preeclampsia in southeast of Iran.

TL;DR: The findings indicate that the 4b/a and T-786C polymorphisms of eNOS gene do not have any association with preeclampsia, but it is found that the risk of preeClampsia was twofold in Afghan women in contrast to Persian and Balooch women.
