Optimal Walker Constellation Design of LEO-Based Global Navigation and Augmentation System

TL;DR: This paper designs a LEO-based optimal global navigation and augmentation constellations designed by a non-dominated sorting genetic algorithm III (NSGA-III) and genetic algorithm (GA) and proves that the computation efficiency of the constellation design can be considerably improved by using master–slave parallel computing.
Journal ArticleDOI

Precise Orbit Determination of BDS-2 and BDS-3 Using SLR

TL;DR: The results indicate that during the half-year time span of 2019, the overall Root Mean Square (RMS) of SLR validation residuals derived from WUM is 19.0 cm, and the 9-day arc solutions present the best orbit accuracy in the multi-day SLR-only orbit determination for BDS IGSO and MEO satellites.
Journal ArticleDOI

SLR validation and evaluation on BDS precise orbits from 2013 to 2018

TL;DR: In this article, the authors used satellite laser ranging (SLR) data over a 5-year time series to validate and evaluate the accuracy of the BeiDou Navigation System (BDS) using microwave-based precise orbits.
Journal ArticleDOI

Navigation in GEO, HEO, and Lunar Trajectory Using Multi-GNSS Sidelobe Signals

TL;DR: In this article , the authors simulate pseudorange observations with measurement noises varying with received signal powers, and compare the performance of GPS, Galileo, and GLONASS with BDS-3 and its combinations with other systems.
Journal ArticleDOI

LEO-Constellation-Augmented BDS Precise Orbit Determination Considering Spaceborne Observational Errors

TL;DR: Experiments calculating the augmented BDS Pod for different LEO constellations considering spaceborne observational errors extracted from the solar storm indicate that these errors have a significant influence on the accuracy of the BDS POD.
