Review of Carbon and Graphene Quantum Dots for Sensing
TL;DR: The authors suggest that with the potential of these nanomaterials in sensing more research is needed on understanding their optical properties and why the synthetic methods influence their properties so much, into methods of surface functionalization that provide greater selectivity in sensing and into new sensing concepts that utilise the virtues of these nano-materials.
Journal ArticleDOI
π–π Stacking Interaction: A Nondestructive and Facile Means in Material Engineering for Bioapplications
Tao Chen,Meixiu Li,Jingquan Liu +2 more
TL;DR: The characterization, geometric configurations, and requirements for π–π stacking interactions are discussed, and then focus on their typical bioapplications in material engineering in particular.
Journal ArticleDOI
Adsorption properties of polyacrylamide/Nicandra physaloides (L.) gaertn gel to Congo red
TL;DR: In this article , a facile freeze-drying method was used to prepare composites polyacrylamide/ Nicandra physaloides (L.) gaertn seed gum (PAM/NPG), and it showed high adsorption properties to Congo red (CR) in the aqueous solution.
