The effect of real ground on dual band Yagi-Uda antenna

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors analyzed the radiation pattern for horizontally polarised dual band Yagi-Uda antenna (900/1800 MHz) with the presence of real ground and found that the ground plane greatly influences the radiation patterns and increases the gain of H plane significantly.
Journal ArticleDOI

Towards an Integrated Mobile Technology on Animal Disease Surveillance Framework in Tanzania: A Systematic Review

TL;DR: In this paper , the authors reviewed the existing animal diseases surveillance systems global and suggest measures to enhance animal disease surveillance systems in Tanzania, considering available resources such as animal diseases existing prediction models and mobile-based surveillance systems.
Journal ArticleDOI

Mobile Application for Research Knowledge Sharing and Dissemination: The Case of Nm-Aist Univeristy Tanzania

TL;DR: In this paper , the most efficient and successful method of disseminating knowledge in communities is through meetings, workshops, and focus group discussions held by researchers, agricultural extension officers and community members after every three months or during field study.
Journal ArticleDOI

Design a Services Architecture for Mobile-Based Agro-Goods Transport and Commerce System

TL;DR: In this article , the authors used stakeholders to validate core services needed and proposed service architecture for Agro-Goods Transport and Commerce (AgroTC) system using installable and build-in mobile phone applications (internet web, mobile apps, and USSD).
Journal ArticleDOI

Analysis and Performance Evaluation of Entropic Thresholding Image Processing Techniques for Electrical Capacitance Tomography Measurement System

TL;DR: In this article, the use of entropic thresholding techniques is investigated to improve image quality generated from the electrical capacitance tomography measurement system, which is easier to implement and integrate with classical algorithms such as Linear Back Projection, Singular value decomposition, Tikhonov regularization and Landweber.
