Experimental Studies of the Mechanism and Kinetics of Hydration Reactions

TL;DR: In this article, the authors investigated hydration reactions under varying climatic conditions by using water vapor sorption measurements and in-situ Raman microscopy and showed that the mechanism and the kinetics depend on the climatic condition.
Journal ArticleDOI

Thermochemical investigation of the water uptake behavior of MgSO4 hydrates in host materials with different pore size

TL;DR: In this paper, a magnesium sulfate was embedded in various porous host materials with average pore diameters (DM) ranging from 1.7μm to 7nm, and water uptake behavior of these composites was investigated by thermogravimetry and isothermal calorimetry.
