The polypropylene-polyphenyl ether-polystyrene ternary alloy is prepared from, by weight, 100 parts of polypropylene,polyphenyl ether and polystyrene, wherein polypropylene accounts for 10-60%, polyphenyl ether accounts for 10-60%, and polystyrene accounts for 5-30%, 5-25 parts of a compatibilizer and 10-60 parts of a polyphosphate compounds. The polypropylene-polyphenyl ether-polystyrene ternary alloy has the advantage of small release amount of smoke in melting.
