Journal ArticleDOI

Maresin 1 prevents lipopolysaccharide-induced neutrophil survival and accelerates resolution of acute lung injury.

TL;DR: MaR1 promotes the resolution of L PS-induced ALI by overcoming LPS-mediated suppression of neutrophil apoptosis by overcoming the proapoptotic action of MaR1.
Journal ArticleDOI

Maresin 1 Inhibits Epithelial-to-Mesenchymal Transition in Vitro and Attenuates Bleomycin Induced Lung Fibrosis in Vivo.

TL;DR: Data indicate that MaR1 inhibits TGF-&bgr;1-induced EMT and attenuates bleomycin-induced pulmonary fibrosis and may be a promising strategy for alleviation of lung fibrosis.
Journal ArticleDOI

BML-111 attenuates hemorrhagic shock-induced acute lung injury through inhibiting activation of mitogen-activated protein kinase pathway in rats.

TL;DR: This study indicates that BML-111 attenuated hemorrhagic shock-induced ALI via the MAPK/activator protein-1 signaling pathway, and may have therapeutic potential for hemorrhagicshock- induced ALI.
Journal ArticleDOI

BML-111 attenuates acute lung injury in endotoxemic mice.

TL;DR: BML-111 significantly improved the mouse survival rate, reduced body weight loss, attenuated the pulmonary pathologic changes, inhibited neutrophil infiltration and proinflammatory cytokine production, and mitigated endothelial hyperpermeability by upregulating the expression of junction proteins.
