Journal ArticleDOI
Inhibition of tobacco bacterial wilt with sulfone derivatives containing an 1,3,4-oxadiazole moiety.
TL;DR: It is demonstrated that sulfone derivatives containing 1,3,4-oxadiazole can be used to develop potential bactericides for plants and the control effect of compound 5'j against tobacco bacterial wilt was better than that of the commercial bactericide Saisentong.
Journal ArticleDOI
Design, synthesis, and antibacterial activity against rice bacterial leaf blight and leaf streak of 2,5-substituted-1,3,4-oxadiazole/thiadiazole sulfone derivative
Pei Li,Li Shi,Xia Yang,Lei Yang,Chen Xuewen,Fang Wu,Qingcai Shi,Weiming Xu,Ming He,Deyu Hu,Baoan Song +10 more
TL;DR: Among the title compounds, compound 6c demonstrated the best inhibitory effect against rice bacterial leaf blight and leaf streak with half-maximal effective concentration (EC50) values of 1.07 and 7.14 μg/mL, respectively.
Journal ArticleDOI
Synthesis and bioactivities of novel thioether/sulfone derivatives containing 1,2,3-thiadiazole and 1,3,4-oxadiazole/thiadiazole moiety.
TL;DR: Thioether/sulfone heterocyclic derivatives could be considered as new lead compounds for antiviral studies and displayed high antiviral activity against tobacco mosaic virus.
Journal ArticleDOI
Synthesis and bioactivity evaluation of novel arylimines containing a 3-aminoethyl-2-[(p-trifluoromethoxy)anilino]-4(3H)-quinazolinone moiety.
TL;DR: Results indicate that novel arylimine derivatives containing the 4(3H)-quinazolinone moiety can effectively control tobacco bacterial wilt, tomato bacterial wilts, and X. oryzae.
Journal ArticleDOI
Synthesis and bioactivity of pyrazole acyl thiourea derivatives.
TL;DR: Sixteen novel pyrazole acyl thiourea derivatives 6 were synthesized from monomethylhydrazine and ethyl acetoacetate and some of the synthesized compounds displayed good antifungal activities against Gibberella zeae, Fusarium oxysporum, Cytospora mandshurica and anti-TMV activity in preliminary antIFungal activity tests.
