Characteristic Fluctuations in Glycosidically Bound Volatiles during Tea Processing and Identification of Their Unstable Derivatives.
Jilai Cui,Jilai Cui,Tsuyoshi Katsuno,Kojiro Totsuka,Toshiyuki Ohnishi,Hiroyuki Takemoto,Nobuyuki Mase,Mitsuo Toda,Tetsuo Narumi,Kohei Sato,Testuaki Matsuo,Kenta Mizutani,Ziyin Yang,Naoharu Watanabe,Huarong Tong +14 more
TL;DR: The total contents of GBVs gradually increased at the withering steps and then remarkably increased after the fixing step at 230 °C, during oolong tea processing, and the presence of 6'-O-malonyl ester type β-D-glucopyranosides in the tea samples suggested a contribution to the increment in glucopyrnosides during ooled tea processing.
Journal ArticleDOI
Transcriptional Repression of Cdc25B by IER5 Inhibits the Proliferation of Leukemic Progenitor Cells through NF-YB and p300 in Acute Myeloid Leukemia
Satoki Nakamura,Yasuyuki Nagata,Lin Tan,Tomonari Takemura,Kiyoshi Shibata,Michio Fujie,Shinya Fujisawa,Yasutaka Tanaka,Mitsuo Toda,Reiko Makita,Kenji Tsunekawa,Manabu Yamada,Mayumi Yamaoka,Junko Yamashita,Kazunori Ohnishi,Mitsuji Yamashita +15 more
TL;DR: It is found that transcriptional repression mediated by IER5 regulates Cdc25B expression levels via the release of NF-YB and p300 in AML-derived ALDHhi/CD34+ cells, resulting in inhibition of AML progenitor cell proliferation through modulation of cell cycle.
Journal ArticleDOI
Synthesis and evaluation of novel phosphasugar anticancer agents
Mayumi Yamaoka,Mitsuji Yamashita,Manabu Yamada,Michio Fujie,Michio Fujie,Keita Kiyofuji,Nobuhisa Ozaki,Kazuhide Asai,Taishi Niimi,Takuya Suyama,Junko Yamashita,Akiho Sawada,Reiko Makita,Masaki Sugiyama,Mitsuo Toda,Satoki Nakamura,Kazunori Ohnishi +16 more
TL;DR: In this article, the starting materials of phosphasugars, 1-phenyl-2-phospholene 1-oxides, were pre-pared from dienes and phenylphosphonous dichloride.
Journal ArticleDOI
Synthesis and in vitro studies of Gd–DTPA derivatives as new potential MRI contrast agents
Arigala Uma Ravi Sankar,Mitsuji Yamasitha,K. Srinivasulu,Nobuhisa Ozaki,Takashi Aoki,Michio Fujie,Michio Fujie,Keisuke Ogawa,Shingo Okada,Manubu Yamada,Yasutaka Tanaka,Motohiko Kimura,Mitsuo Toda +12 more
TL;DR: A new type of dendritic molecules, Gd–DTPA derivatives, which work as a functionalized ligand coordinating gadolinium(III) ion at the center of their frameworks with different terminal moieties on the molecular surfaces, was readily synthesized with high yield.
Journal ArticleDOI
Synthesis and characterization of quantum dot nanoparticles bound to the plant volatile precursor of hydroxy-apo-10'-carotenal.
Vo Anh Tu,Atsushi Kaga,Karl-Heinz Gericke,Naoharu Watanabe,Tetsuo Narumi,Mitsuo Toda,Bernhard Brueckner,Susanne Baldermann,Susanne Baldermann,Nobuyuki Mase +9 more
TL;DR: The synthesis of nanoparticles bound to plant volatile precursors was achieved via coupling reaction of the QD to C27-aldehyde which was prepared from α-ionone via 12 steps in 2.4% overall yield.
