Water Film Depth Prediction Model for Highly Textured Pavement Surface Drainage

TL;DR: Water film depth (WFD) is an important factor for road traffic safety because of its direct connection with skid resistance, hydroplaning speed, and the tendency of splash and spray.
Journal ArticleDOI

FRP confinement of SCC incorporating expansive agent and saturated lightweight sand

TL;DR: In this paper, the effect of shrinkage, the use of lightweight sand (LWS) as internal curing and an expansive agent (EA) as shrinkage-reducing admixture on the confinement of self-consolidating concrete was investigated.

Seismic Behavior and Design of Segmental Precast Post-Tensioned Concrete Piers

TL;DR: In this paper, the performance of the single-column and two-column bents constructed using precast post-tensioned CFFT segments was investigated and the results showed that the columns re-centered upon the conclusion of the test resulting in minimal residual displacement.
